KeyFigure addition in Infoprovider

Hello,

I had added one key figure in one multiprovider,the key figure (Bracket Pricing)was already there in one of the underlying cubes of the multiprovider.The same key figure i had added in the query and saved.But when i execute the query ithe field is blank it is not showing any data.And please let me know while moving Transport how to collect the objects.If possible please tell me the step by step procedure of collecting the Transport.

I had loaded the underlying cube and now the data is coming in Multiprovider,but in query still it is showing blank.

Hi Jyoti,

I hope you are able to see the data in MP mean you are getting non-zero values.

Right click on MP--> Dispaly Data --> select only a char(any unique char preferably a keyfied in your DSO if it exists below your cube), infoprovider from which your keyfigure is added to MP & also your Keyfigure. Then display the data. Now check your Keyfigure column & its respective infoprovider data. Now you should be able to see data only from the Cube from which you have assigned the keyfigure in MP. And all the other rows from other Cubes will be blank.

Now goto the query & drill it down across the char which you have selected in order to view MP data. Now filter it across some values for which you were able to see data in MP. Now see if you are able to see the data or not. If you donot have any global filters in the query, you shoulf be able to see the data.

Hi

check if you have data in cube or multiprovider for filter conditions you have in query.

try applying same filters in display data option of multiprovider and see if you get data.

Hello Arvind,

It is mapped to correct cube.

Steps:right click on the keyfigure and check the "Select Assign" it is assign to COPA from where the field is coming.

hi,

check the assignment for characteristics you are using in MP, open LISTCUBE and see what all data is coming from which cube. The data is only vanishing because of some query restriction or filter condition.

Thanks for the reply,The key figure is already mapped in the undrlying cube i had just added the keyfigure in the multiprovider.When i am checking the cube data is there but in multiprovider it is showing 0 values and query it is showing blank.Please help.

hi,

Open the MP in change mode, find the KF and check the assignment for the KF, whether it is mapped with the correct cube.

This can happen due to n number of reasons, the data is not available in the underlying cube for the KF, the KF is not mapped in the transformation. In case it is newly added in cube then to see the data for history the reload of cube is necessary.

It may happen that the data is there but for the query filters and restrictions there is no data.

And please let me know while moving Transport how to collect the objects.If possible please tell me the step by step procedure of collecting the Transport.

change the cube in a TR, activate its transformations in a TR, MP in a separate TR, query changes collected through RSA1 transport connection in a separate TR.

The sequence will be

Cube

Transformation

MP

Query
