How to Checked The Object Not Locked by Others in Transport

Hi all,

I have problem in transporting workbook to production, the question is:

a. How to Solve Object that is locked by other transport requests

b. How to Check Object Not Locked by Others Request before doing transport.

Hi Supriatna,

a.if you want to unlock some objects (also to be able to delete a request with some locked objects) go to SE01->Shift+F6(Transport Organizer tools)->Unlock Objects (expert tool)

b.when you use the transport connection (RSA1) to collect the objects before the transport, you can see if some objects are inside a request in the column 'transport request' on the right side...

Hi,

it's better to release transport request!

in se03 you can search transport requests locking the objects by object type.

For Excel Workbook use R3TR XLWB.

Releasing transport request, it works.

and I try SE03 to search the request locking, there is no R3TR XLWB in Selection of Objects that I found is R3TR DXLW is it same or not ?, and

I use "Search for Object in Request/Task" am I correct ?

Hi Supriatna,

In the same screen where you have been 'Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks' place your cursor in one of the empty fields (the second column, eg. PROG) and look up for XLWB. You have increase the number of displayed entries in the look up screen to atleast 1000 to find the R3TR XLWB entry (Excel workbook entry).
