Determining the no of server nodes for 6000 concurrent user:

Hi Portal guru,

We are exposing our EP Portal paltform to 100000 user base from 20000 user base.

Increse in Concurrent user to 6000 from 2000.

Existing EP Portal Platform specifications:

1-Total RAM Size 128 GB---Available RAM size 40 GB.

2-Existing Jco settings for applications:

Maximum Pool Size: 50

Maximum Connections: 100

Connection Timeout (msec.): 10000

Maximum Waiting Time (msec.): 30000

3-Total server noded:8 on two Java instance.(4 on each).

4-OS:Sun Solaris 5.10 & Oracle 10.0.2.0

5-Load balancing/SSL at SAP Web dispatcher:

My Questions Are:

1-How much Ram size need to increase.

2-What could be jco seeting to handle 6000 concuurent users.

3-Total no of server nodes & dilaog instance required to handle 6000 concurrenet user base.

4-to handle increased SSL Request on webdisaptcher....What configuartions/Parameter need to checked & altered.
