Issue with Delivery Block

Dear Experts,

While trying to create a Service Notification we are observing that a Delivery Block is being set for the "Outbound Order Created Activity". Tried investigating this further and found that Payer has no Delivery block set, Ship-to has no delivery block set. Delivery type for such orders is configured as LF. When I checked the configuration this particular delivery type is assigned to various other Delivery Blocks other than the block reason that is in question. Checked the User Exit (MV45AFZZ) and figured out that this is not being populated in the custom code but is determined in SAP standard logic.

My question here is why the Outbound order is going into Block in first place. If at all it has to go to Delivery Block why not the other Reason codes? Can any help me please. Your help us highly appreciated.

HI Radha,

The Delivery block can be set through Schedule line category. When you define a delivery block for a schedule line category, this specification is copied to the schedule line. The schedule line is then blocked for all delivery types that are allocated to this delivery block.

Please check the Schedule line category configuration.

Hi Radha,

Look in transaction VOV8, sales document definition. In the shipping field group you can indicate a "Delivery Block". If this field is filled, than the order will be delivery blocked.

check whether the credit check is active in your item category settings.

Which delivery block status is there in delivry document? i will check in the morning. Currently i have no server
