Dear Experts,

I am new toIS Oil.

Can you please make me understand what is Well Completion and Measurement point in SAP refers to business in IS oil?

Does every Oil well in business refer to Well completion in SAP? What is Measurement point?

Hi Kiran,

Kindly note that MP: Measurement point and well completion is PRA Master data.

Measurement point is used to quantify the measure quantity and back allocate to well completion.

Well completion level also you will be able to enter quantity directly or well completion can receive the qty during the production allocation.

Since your question is too generic, can you please elaborate what exactly you are looking for.

I understand MP. Thanks. How " Well competion" and "Well" are related? Are they one and same? If not , Please explain with example.

Hi Kiran,

Are you on project or you are trying to learn PRA reading SAP help.

Since this question on difference between Well and well completion is bare minimum expectation to know working of PRA module.

difference between well and well completion is not SAP terminology. Its industry terminology.

I hope I m not being too rude in asking, but this question is like asking what is debit and what is credit in financial forum.

I hope you will appreciate my answer.

My suggestion to you will be to undergo training.

yes, for well i dont need to explain you since i has literal meaning. well completion is nothing but you complete the well after drilling so that the well is ready for production
