Transport problem in Mini WebAS 6.20

I have installed Mini WebAS 6.20 on my Windows XP Pro machine. No problems with the installation. However, I am trying to import the <b>Example_transport</b> that comes with the CD. I have placed the files from the zip archive into the relevant directories. I then performed the following TP command and received the error below:

tp pf=trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_BSP.PFL import B20K8A0H5B BSP

ERROR: Background job RDDIMPDP could not be started or terminated abnormal

Please check that the R/3 system is running.

Please check the system. Use transactions SM21, SM37, SM50.

I have tried to work out what is wrong with the system but I am continually receiving the same error. I have scheduled the RDDIMPDP job using program RDDNEWPP but still no luck.....

Any ideas out there?

You need to get a newer TP from the Marketplace. I had the same problems.

The newer TP will take care of the problem and you'll be able to import the examples.

Craig, thanks for your message. I have now updated my TP (from version 320.56.75 to 320.58.06) and SAPEVT (from version 6200.389.7.56217 to 6200.1511.10.9566).

However, I am still receiving the same problem. I have started the background job RDDIMPDP and I get the following message when I attempt the TP import step:

This is tp version 320.58.06 (release 620)

Do you have an BGD processes started ? Or does your profile show 0?

rdisp/wp_no_dia = 2
rdisp/wp_no_btc = 2
rdisp/wp_no_spo = 1
rdisp/wp_no_vb = 1
rdisp/wp_no_enq = 1

the btc is the important one, if it is 0 then your jobs will never start.
