FI A/R --- Payment Terms --- Setting up a new payment term

Hi All -

Our client has a need that customers be able to pay their invoices 21 days from the invoice date. So, basically the payment term is 21 days. No, cash discounts nothing.

The default FI A/R payment terms provided out of the box in SAP seem to allow

1. immediate due or

2. 14 days net due.

What does it involve to configure a new payment term called 21 days net due?

Does it require any ABAP coding, activiating FMs etc or is it just plain configuration?

Any guidance in this matter is appreciated.

Thanks in advance for taking your time to answer the question.

    Go to transaction code OBB8

    Click on new entries.

Enter your new payment terms code and description.

    Select account type as customer.

Select "document date" under default for baseline date

under payment terms section, for line 1 enter 21 in number of days

    Then save it.
