Crystal Reports 0 Decimal Places

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anybody had come across this issue before when using any Crystal output marketing document in Business One.

The customer has their quantity decimal places set to zero (as they only sell whole products), so when a document is produced an error comes up saying that the string must be between 1 and array value in formula N_Decimal_Places.

Is there a way to get around this without removing the formula (as it does formatting for the other decimal places)?

Thanks,

Liam.

    Hi Liam,

Based on the error message, something is wrong when you select the field. CR read it as a string instead of number. You need to make sure field mapping is correct.

    Thanks,

    Gordon

      Hi Gordon,

Thanks for that, I will look into the field mapping.

Just to throw some more information over the issue, the issue affects the SAP standard CR layouts provided with 8.8 or above. This can only be resolved by increasing the decimal size in the database (which the customer cannot do).

      Thanks,

      Liam.

This is an issue with Business One and will be fixed in PL08 of 8.81.
