    Hello

    Check the following articles:

297064 - Error Message "Snap-in Failed to Initialize" When You Use Microsoft Management Console http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;297064&FR=1&PA=1&SD=HSCH305831 - "MMC Snap-In

Failed to Initialize Disk Management Extension" Error Message Starting Disk Management http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;305831&FR=1&PA=1&SD=HSCH

Make sure the following files exist in your system folder (probably C:\Windows\system32). Then, make sure they are all registered.

    certmgr.dll

    filemgmt.dll

    mycomput.dll

If noting else helps and in worse case perhaps re-install of Windows is necessary.

    Regards.
