Import Dimensional Data

My client wants to import dimensional data only via the BICA tool. Is this possible? If yes is it Best Practice, or should they set up a PAS procedure instead? Or?

I am trying to understand what they are looking to do with the dimensional data after it is imported. If they are looking to build a new model using those dimensions, you'd need to construct those in PAS.

    • Lars,

What I would recommend doing is creating your model using BICA. You can then create an additional Model Connection in the SSM Admin for Entry & Approval, using the MMADMIN PAS user.

This way you can bring in data from BW and allow you to maintain some of the KPIs with manual data from E&A.

Does that sound like what you want to accomplish?
