Firefight ID issue

Former Member

Hi,

We are facing issue in login through Firefighter - error message was "You are not authorized to change passwords in user group

Checked firefight id is already having the correct role.

This is happening since the SP upgrade in the system. Per SAP note 1319031, this happens during SP upgrade.

I need to understand why this is happening and what we need to do from the security perspective to make correct firefight and how can we avoid this in future.

Thanks,

Umesh

Hi Umesh,

There are 2 Auth objects that have been introduced in FF .. I dont recollect it but you can easily trace them out while performing the action. These objects have to be added to FF roles to fix this issue.. We faced this during our SP upgrade as well and had to make sure the new Auth object/values are updated in all FF roles accordingly.

Rgds,

Sri
