SLG1 error while creating Business Partner

Hi,

Im currently working on SRM 7.0 and keep receiving the following errors in SLG1. Can you kindly advise what might be the root cause for the below errors so ican fix the issue and ensure the same error doesnt pop up going further?

Error type 1:

Error: Error while Creating Business Partner (BP) Module: BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA Vendor: XXXXX

The region 00 is not defined for country DE

Error type 2:

Error: Error while Creating Business Partner (BP) Module: BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA Vendor: XXXXXX

The transport zone ZOC0000001 is not defined for country YY

Error type 3:

Error:Error while Creating Business Partner (BP) Module: BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA Vendor: XXXXXX

Email address "whatever email" is invalid

Hello Akshay,

Resolution for Isuue 1:

SAP Web Application Server -> General Settings -> Set Countries -> Insert Regions or Define Country Codes

Region for country DE is not maintained in SPRO or bad data.

Resolution for Issue 2:

SAP Web Application Server - Application Server - Basis Services - Address Management - Maintain Transport Zones

Maintain the transport zones in SRM.

Resolution for Issue 3:

email address should be a valid address. SRM checks the format e.g. xx @ yy . zzz

I believe error could be due to incorrect data.

Hi,

I am facing problem in replication the vendor to SRM too. The error msg in SLG1 is Error: Error while creating business partner (BP) Module: BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA Supplier: XXXXXX-Incomplete address; enter country.

I have updated the Country in XK03 General data, still it is not working.

Please help.

Hi Rashmi,

For the error 'incomplete address; enter country', this is usually caused by upgrade of ECC system.

Did you recently upgrade ECC system with component SAP_APPL?

Please tell me the current version of SAP_APPL in your ECC system, and then I can help further.
