Course catalog and development plan (ECC 6 EhP 4)

Dear All,

I am currently working on a SAP-based solution (with SAP ECC 6 EhP 4), and I have two issues that you may help me to solve regarding the development plan and its use through the portal.

The first issue is related to the possibility to add a course to the development plan. The [documentation |] states that :

■You can specify one or more development measures for each development goal. You have the following options for this:

■You select a suitable course from the course catalog.

■You can define the measure freely.

■Talent Management Specialist

To create or edit a development plan, select the required employee in the Talent Information iView and choose Development Plan.

In the Talent Assessment iView, under Development Plan, display the development plan for the required employee.

I tried to add a course to a development plan. On the portal (through TMS access), it is possible to add action to a development goal, but it is not possible to add a course (I may enter a description, a type and a status, that's all). I searched in the SAP IMG to see if there is any configuration to make, but I couldn't find it. Do you have any idea / suggestion to make ?

(Note : The DPLAN SIMU switch in table T77S0 is set to 1. Other DPLAN : CONFS is set to X and TSTAT to 3)

The second issue is also related to the actions in development plan : the "type" can be "Mentoring", "Training", "On-the-job training" or "Other". Is it possible to change that list ? And how ? I looked into the IMG, but I couldn't find it.

Thanks in advance,

    As to the first one. Did you enable the LSO integration during the template creation (via the wizard)?

    Second issue. Create a scale with the actions you want. and then register this scale in table: T77TMC_SCA_MAP

    scale type = 8

    scale consumer = 2 or 3

    visibility = 1

    Regards and Groetjes,
