Unable to Import RFCs/IDocs

Hi,

Our XI server is at <b>Stack 04</b> configuration.

We are trying to Import SAP Objects into integration builder.

Following are the parameters that we have given for importing RFCs and IDocs.

In the Software component version

System: <SID> ZXI in our case.

Client: 100

On clicking on Import SAP Objects:

Application Server: cgnsap11

System number: 00

User: <User>

Pwd: <Pwd>

The following entries are there in <b>C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\services</b>sapdp00s 4700/tcp # SAP System Dispatcher Security Port

sapgw00s 4800/tcp # SAP System Gateway Security Port

sapdp01s 4701/tcp # SAP System Dispatcher Security Port

sapgw01s 4801/tcp # SAP System Gateway Security Port

sapmsZXI 3600/tcp # SAP System Message Port

<b>Please note that the connection parameters are perfect as we have tested the same from another XI server which is at Stack 03 and we were able to import IDocs and RFCs into integration builder.</b>

We are unable to identify why it’s not going to 2nd step (<b>Choose Objects</b>) from 1st step (<b>Logon</b>) in this server which is at Stack 04.

Also it’s not throwing up any error. It’s just being still without any error or any message.

Did we miss any configuration step? How to check the same?

How to debug and what are the steps that we can perform so that we can import SAP objects?

    Hi,

    There is a lot of weird stuff that happened to us with Stack 04. So we went onto SP5 and had no problems..Try it and let me know...

    Hi Sudhir,

    The services entry of the target system has to be in the services file on the XI server, not the local machine where you try to import.
