Contract price

Hi all,

I have searched for the below requirement without much success.Hope for more light on the issue

I have a requirement where the end user enters the vendor and material in PO.

If the same are defined in a contract it should get the price from the same.

But presently it fetches the previous PO price for that material.

Do i need an abaper to do this or are there any settings.

Hi,

System will fetch the price from valid PIR if it it exist if not from the previous purchasing documnet.There is no setting to trigger Price from Contract but if we are creating PO referencing a Contract system will trigger the price from contract. In your case the best way is to discuss with an abaper and think logically how the scenario can be incorporated.

Hi,

It is not mandatory that once you create a Contract for material and vendor then you can not create Purchase Order w/o referring contract.

And when you create a normal PO w/o referring a contract, it will always pick up the last PO price instead Contract Price.

In case if you always want the contract price should appear in PO then you need to create PO w.r.t. Contract.

At the time of creating Contract at Item detail level, enter Info Update Key as "C" and Save. As a result of this system will update the Info Record with the price and while creating PO, system should default this price.

During the Contract creation you need press Item Details (F2) in next window you will see "Info Update"

But in our system PIR is no updated((

Contract is intermediate document & it is not release kind of document

While at the time of PO creation you need to refer contract then only system will fetch all the relevant info from contract.

Or else system will fetch either last PO price or it fetch from PIR.

You should refer the contract number on PO to pull the Contract price.
