    Hi,

    It is possible that you have been posting values which is exceeding the NBV togeather with the already posted depreciation in past. Please check the net book value rule in depreciation area defination. If all value are allowed is configured then system will not check whether it exceed the NBV, but you should not allow all values because it does not make sence to have negative net book value. The solution would be to post value to the extent of NBV.

    Thanks!!!

    Hi

    Generally this type of message will come when there is an incompatability in depreciation area.

    Please check in the following path:

    SPRO -

    > Financial Accounting -> Asset Accounting -

    > Valuation--> Depreciation Areas -

    > Define Depreciation Areas...

    Select the appropriate Chart of Depreciation and Depreciation area.

    There are 10 setting given under "Value Maintenance " Tab button.

    Please check and change accordingly. I guess you should select " Net Book values" (2nd one) with all values.

    Otherwise also, the issue will be there in those 10 values only.

    Please check it.

    Please go through the below mentioned link

    Error in posting with transaction ABAA - unplanned depn (Error msg: AA 666)
