Image components are not visible.

Hi Experts,

Some time back i created a dashboard based on XML connectivity with around 59 components in it. Some of them are not visible on the canvas (I did checked the object browser) and few of the image components are even not visible in the preview mode.

I am quite new in Dash boarding.

kindly suggest me way to make it work as earlier.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using the latest Flash player offered on the Adobe site. Can you tell me how to check the version of Xcelsius.

open the Xcelsius IDE and go to the Help tab and then About Xcelsius there you will find Xcelsius Version and Build Number.

It shows

version : 5.3.0.0

Build No: 12,3,0,670

Also I would like to add that, i did try to delete those component and try it again but getting the same result. Is it someting to do with the version I am using?

We faced the same issue during early development phases. You need to install the fix pack to correct this issue. Remember fix pack will make sure this wont happen again but it wont make the disappeared component to appear.

3.5 is the latest patch available you can install anything above 3.1 (we are using 3.3).

Is there any way that I can get back Images from my one dashboard (corrupt not previewing). As I embedded those images I didn't kept any backup copy.

Is it possible to forecast in out dashboard depending on the current and previous data.

You can try an old trick. see it works.

Change the extension of the Dashboard source file from XLF to ZIP there is an IMAGE folder containing all the images embedded into the Dashboard.

You can use trend analyzer(standard component in fix Pack 3.2 and above) for forecasting. But you need to check the logic form Functional s. Trend Analyzer can be used to show average trend and so on.
