We have a situation where employee is given excess amount of money in last pay period and now excess amount has been taken back. So this has led to negative gross amount in the range of around (-$14000). And since I think the salary is negative so '/403 TX EE Social Security Tax' and '/405 TX EE Medicare Tax' tax amounts are not deducted for this period. When I run payroll in simulation for next pay period agian these taxes are not getting calculated. This is understandable as for the period when extra amount was given tax was recovered and that is being compensated in next pay periods.
What I want to know is..do I get to see these tax amounts in payroll logs ? e.g. When salary is negative do I get to see the tax amount. I checked for cluster tables but could not find any. Please suggest.
