Steps for intergration of solution manger with HP QC,QTP

Hi Experts,

please guide me for steps for integration of solution manager with testing tolls HP QC,QTP ?

I have searched in SDN & SAP market place on this but i did not get proper details.

Hello,

We are doing NWBC 7.0 desktop client automation using UFT. We were able to record and execute the script successfully through UFT. But, when we tried to integrate UFT with SolMan 7.2 and executed the script from Solution Manager, it is failing as execution error.

Below are the steps we followed..

We created a test configuration in SolMan 7.2

Launched UFT from Test configuration

Recorded a NWBC desktop client scenario in UFT (in integrated mode)

Saved the script in SolMan through UFT

Clicked on execute button in Configuration

Clicked on execute in Start options window

Observations:

We see that the upon click on execute (through Start Options) in solution manager, it is calling UFT script to execute

After sometime, we get solman report stating that objects captured in UFT are failed to be recognised. Though the scripts works find from UFT, same script is failing to run from Solution Manager

After clicking on execute option in Solution Manager (test configurations screen), we tried to close Solution Manager window and we can see that UFT script is running fine. Is that anything to do with start options window..

We dont see this issue in Fiori cases. Fiori scripts recorded through UFT are running fine from Solution Manager. We see this issue only with SAP GUI and NWBC scenarios. Plese help.

you can get to all the documents that Prakhar and ShivJansi by going to

http://service.sap.com/alm and then Processes --> Test Management

Most of the new documentation is updated there or under the Media Library section.

QC 11 is now supported with Solution Manager 7.0 SP26 and above.

Hi Vasu,

deploy ST-QCA addon in solman and activate it using sfw5 transaction (SM_QC_AD)

, once deployed you should be getting following option enabled in solman

SPRO> SOlution Manager> Scenario-specific settings--> Solution manager -External Integration --> SAP Quality center by SAP

Follow the SPRO documentation step by step.
