Planned PR Quantity

Hello Gurus,

I have a requirement. There will be total planned qty for a material, EX for 10000101 material planned qty is 1000 nos. This will be maintained for a WBS Element. The user will create partial Purachse requisitons. The system shud allow user to craete PR's till qty reaches 1000. The moment it exceeds 1000, the system shud throw error message.

Please let me know how it can be done.

if you are creating PR manually then you can use some user exit in the PR to validate the quantity.

if you need to create PR automatically then use project MRP and create only planned order. then convert these planned order into PRs.

please let me know how we can calculate the amount of time tkn to convert planned order to PR and how....
