Talent search and appraisal document

Hi,

We have a talent management specialist who can see his own name through the search results and when choosing his name and clicking on the appraisal document to view his own appraisal document he is not able to view the document. Message on the screen is 'No relevant appraisal document found for <pernr>.

This user was able to view his document early but after a change in the manager not able to view the doc with above message. I ran the HR SYNC job as well as the TREX delta index, still the same issue. Will some one please shed some light on this issue? We are in EHP4 using WDA app through portal.

Hi TIA,

If the manager of this individual ahs changed then it may be that the document is assigned to the old manager still and therefore will not show for this individual as they have no document with their current manager.

FYI - this is not related to TREX or BPs (HR SYNC) so you should concentrate on the PMP side of things.

Thanks for your time. So the old manager has to release the appraisal document in order for the talent management specialist to view the appraisal document? If you have any links in help.sap.com will you please pass it here?

Hi MarkMar,

Even though the user is a TMS, the PMP configuration may be that someone can only view the appraisal documents that are created or processed by their manager. I can't give you a definitive answer, although I believe this to be the case. I'll pass this onto someone I know who can answer it

Hi,

The check to enter the document is done by looking if the user's personal number is either appraiser or appraisee. As this is not the case due to the manager change you won't be able to enter the document.

This is not necessarily a bug, it is just how the process is defined. If the old manager would be moved to further participants it should work.

Thanks for the update.

TMS search is looking for the new manager details in HRHAP_APPER but both the "Extended Appraiser ID" as well as the "Combined Key" fields are still holding the old manager details. Due to this the appraisal document is not pulled
