Hi ,

Processing a Dimension from BPC Admin Section will

1.Validate the Hierarchy-If a hierarchy added in the Dimension, then validation will Check the dimension structure and order including hirarchy member precidings..and once it is done same will be added in the BI Infoobject i.e dimension structure.

2.If any dimension formulas added to any particular member in the dimension then that has to be validated to chek its formula correction and its functionality with respect to arithmatic signs correction.

3.Once the member is validated correctly simultaniously same is added in BI as infoobject with same structure.

4.Once any changes are done to the info object then it has to be updated in its attributes in BI Infoobject with the same structure.

Thanks,

Hi,

Processing a dimension will add all the members in the corresponding BI infoobject. In addition to this, it will update all the properties as well. The BPC properties are stored as attributes in BI.

Hope this helps.
