B1iF Event Sender not Sending any events

Hi All,

I have been following the Webinars on B1iF and have successfully completed all the steps for the B1SOtoFILE scenario. Everything was going great until I wanted to do the XLS transformation, for which I wanted to send a test message.

The problem is that I cannot see any events in my B1Event monitor. I have un-installed and reinstalled the B1i Integration and event sender and still no luck. Obviously no messages get sent to the "message log", as no events are picked up under "B1 Event Monitor".

I have setup the event sender and all connections return correct. I have setup my company in the control panel (B1iF) and the connection also tests successfully.

I have also created a "subscriber" under "maintenance > B1 Event subscriber" as per documentation, but still no luck. I have looked under "C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Integration\EventSender\log", but my eventsender_status file says

"May 14, 2011 7:35:33 PM com.sap.b1i.eventsender.ccms.CCMSLogUtil outputCCMSLog

FINE: EventSender_status:running 2011-05-14 19:35:33"

I feel like I might be missing a crucial step here. Or perhaps there is something else wrong. Any assistance would be much appreciated! I cannot move forward without this step.

Hi,

We read in this post that you have successfully completed all the steps for the B1SOtoFILE scenario.

We are facing problem, when trying to replicate this scenario at our end.

Details are herewith.

For this scenario, sender not working.

We have attached screenshot of sender database connections.

The  "Test connection" is always succesful.

we have trying to work out as per the guidance provided in demo video.

But the message count is 0, even after SO created in SO to file scenario.

Please guide.

Hi Isidre,

Yes, I have managed to solve the problem.

First I would suggest checking that the message queue is empty. The message queue can get clogged up and then all events are getting queued.

After clearing the message queue, I would suggest disabling the Mobility and Excelcius dashboard packages on B1if. Please test again to see of the events are now coming through.

If so, you can re-enable the Excelcius and mobility packages.

That sorted out my problems. I hope it sorts out yours.
