Hi all,
I have an STMS with 3 systems landscape (DEV,QA,PRD) on release 4.6C.
I had the requirement to change TMSADM password so,
I implemented notes 761637, 713622, 749977.
Then I reinstalled STMS and it indeed generated rfc destinations as changeable and in these rfcs I entered the changed password of TMSADM.
However there is a strange problem. For each of the systems it generated the rfc destinations for the other two as changeable but for the own system rfc the destination is not changeable. This happens in all three systems for their own STMS rfc destination. The own system rfc destination (automatically generated) has wrong password of TMSADM which results in login screen for its own system.
For example in DEV system stms destinations for
DEV not changeable
QA and PRD changeable.
In QA system stms destinations for
QA not changeable
DEV and PRD changeable.
Any idea?
Thank you.
Hello Kostas,
In this case you can manually create the RFCs which are non modifiable.
I would have followed following sequence:-
Rename non modifiable Rfcs --> create these RFC manually --> put TMSADM pass

Hello Kostas,
Please open the RFC Destination. On the transcation window type 'TOGL' and enter. The RFC would go to edit mode.
Thanks.

Hi,
The rfc destination under sm59 for own system is not changeable, so I cannot set change anything. All others as I mentioned previously are changeable.
Thanks.

Hi,
Looks like it system automatically created a trusted RFC for ownsystem. Go to SM59 and change trusted RFC tab to non trusted and then change password.
