Material Characteristic: Printable / Displayable characteristics

Hi,

Could anyone let me know how I can use the FM 'VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION' to retrieve only the printable / displayable characteristics and not all of them? Or if there is another way (other than the FM mentioned) to have this? Also, is it possible to get the Unit of Measure of the characteristic values that I wish to print?
