Own tag in code templates of the abap editor

Hi,

i think you all know the code hints and that you can define own code templates in the abap editor (at the options screen). As an information I dont mean the code patterns.

So does somebody know how to define own tags for these code templates? Or where the logic is located for the code hints?

Ahhh not really but thx anyway. I want to define my own tags. Lets say %Date%. At the Moment online %DateTime% is available.

Hi,

I don't have much idea of this new editor. But I saw the below statement inside the link and hence I posted for you.

You can insert any of the available predefined tags, your own interactive tags, and type any code you like.

Yeah the interactive Tags means following: lets say i use the Tag %Date% then if i use the template a popup is shown in which i can type in the value for date.

But i don´t like to insert the value by myself, i want the system value inserted. As in %DateTime%.
