Salary Packaging for India

Hi Experts,

I have configured the wage types in IT8 using indirect valuation INVAL. The wage types are populated with the correct valuated amount into IT8.

However, when I configure the same set of wage types for Salary Packaging, and I used function module HR_IN_SPA_INDIA_VALUATION, the amount is not populated at all.

Is there something that I have missed ?

Hi,

I have logged a note to OSS and the respond was : HR_IN_SPA_INDIA_VALUATION will only work for amount. I have to develop my own function to valuate the wage types.

This function module computes value of salary components, which are indirectly evaluated, and defaults in the salary packaging transaction. Table T5W7A entry associates the salary component with this function module.

hence i feel like it will work for your case.

I have already associated the wage types to the function module in your abovementioned table. The wage type is not valuated.
