Transport Collaboration Room (Urgent!!)

I have collaboration room templates setup on our development server. I tried to transport them to a production server by creating a transport package and added all the objects I wanted to transport to the package. Then I imported the package to the production server. The import went well without any error. All the object (e.g. iviews, worksets) appeared in the right folders. However, the problem is that when I went to Collaboration Administration > ewpDSSFormsSearchIndex, I didn't see my collaboration room templates at all. I could see them in the PCD content.

Please provide any inputs on how to successfully transport collaboration room templates and their configurations so that they are registered with the portal after transported to another server. Thank you in advanced.

    Mick,

I am unaware of a way to transport the templates. I have always transported the worksets, pages, iviews, etc. and then re-created the template in each environment. It can be a tedious process. I hope someone knows a solution.

    Hi Mick,

I'm not sure about the portal version you are using, but in EP6 SP2 you need to copy the configuration files as well. I copy mine from "C:\usr\sap\EP60\global\config\cm\config\local\data\collaboration\template" and sub directories.

    Kind regards

    Emma
