Log book - for equipment history

Hi all,

Uses of "log book". How can we use the log book. Anybody implemented log book kindly send me the procedure.

I went to the transaction LBK1 and i could add the Equipment eventhogh i couldnt entry the log.

what type of entry we can enter in Log entry...
