assingment of controlling area

Hi, brothers

please any 1 can help with assignment of controlling area to company code,

first i tried to copy controlling area 0001 to 1222 its not copying,and showing massage

*Copying of enterprise structure was cancelled

secound i have to assign controlling area to company code.but when im trying to open assignment controlling area ox19 its not opening and system gets hangs.

this is erp intallation problem or any configuration problem.
