Add MenuItem ?

Hi, all !

I have a little question. Is it possible add MenuItem to SubMenu Administration / System Initialization ? I don't catch MenuUID for this submenu.

Thank, You

Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

    as said in the UI API help file, it is not allowed adding menu items to the first level of the main menu.

    Sorry, I think you would have to find another place for you menu.

    Hello Daniel

    Like Ivan wrote, the UID is 8192, and it's possible to add a submenu.

    Following XML-String works for me (use LoadBatchActions to load ;):

    <Application>
        <Menus>
            <action type="add">
                <Menu Checked="0" Enabled="1" Position="0"
                    FatherUID="8192" String="Test1" Type="1" UniqueID="Test1" >
                </Menu>
            </action>
        </Menus>
    </Application>

    (Code is taken from UI-Helpfile, I just changed the FatherUID to 8192. From the same section in the UI-Help is following vb6 code to finally load it:

    Dim oXMLDoc1 As MSXML2.DOMDocument
    Set oXMLDoc1 = New MSXML2.DOMDocument
    oXMLDoc1.Load ("C:menu.xml")
    SBO_Application.LoadBatchActions oXMLDoc1.xml
