Old Material Ref No and Blocking of material

HI Fnrds,

In the material master we maintain the Old Material No reference , is there any standard report where i can see the old material ref against my new material ??

After a certain period of time we delete or block some of the materials , i dont want those materials to be shown in the F4 Help ( Search ) , how to do that , is there any option for that ???
