Hi, I would appreciate if someone can kindly let me know if the following is possble and If so, how it can be done.
I want to have 3 charts in a Exelsius dashboard, all are 2D column charts. The tricky part is, one of the dimentions is Client, and I would want to have the same color the the same client across all charts. Eg:
The data will be:
Region Client Turnover
North A 100,000
B 200,000
West B 250,000
C 80,000
South A 125,000
C 250,000
I want to display Client A say in "red", Client B say in "green" consistently across all charts.
Really appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Shamith
Hi,
Please go through the following URL.

Ryan has well explained the dynamic coloring concept by associating a mutiplier along with. You could use the same concept here as well.

Hi, I did go thru the example from Ryan, which would work on the Y-axis for example in the chart.
Any tips on how to do it for the X-axis if we take the 1st pie chart as an example? i.e. to color code - TV's, Fridges, Speakers, Washers etc.. In my situation this list is dynamic and I would not know at design time. Thats why it's quite tricky.
Any tips or some example would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Shamith
Hi,
You can take the color code from excel to your charts.

Hi, I'm a Excelsius newbie...Do you have any exmples i can follow?
The challenge is the exact values are un-known at design time. The list of Clients (A, B, C, ....) could be expanded depending on the actual data, and this data is from an external application.
In such a situation how will I code a function in Excel? any tips?
Thanks
Shamith
