Date format in LSMW

HI

I have created a LSMW for ABNAN. The date format defaulted for user in DD.MM.YY. In the LSMW I have picked DDMY when its reading the data its reading the date wrong.

Could some one please explain me the logic in the date formats (new GL)?

Just increase field length for Date field and try.

I don't think there is difference between new gl and classic gl

Hi,

As it already been said, check the number of characters of the date field of your import structure. You can also check the import file, but open it in notepad. If the user format is dd.mm.yyyy, the import field should be 10 characters long and it should be in C(char) format.

Hi,

Check the converted data in your LSMW and see what is going wrong. Play with the format of the field in the file and adjust it to one you have defined in the field structure. There is no link what-so-ever to new G/L...
