Hi

I think you are taking Print of Po from Me22n or Me23n,correct?

If you take a print from ME9F ,then system wont allow to Print of PO,if PO not released.

for Me22n and Me23n ,take a help of Abaper and ask hide print icon from there,we cannot prevent it by configuration way

Hi,

Please ask your ABAPer to write a Program based upon the Release Status of Purchase Order Document. The ABAPer will write a logic based upon the specified Output Message Type and when the Release Indicator is "9" (PO with Final Release) only then it will print.

I had a similar Business scenario with one of my client and this solution works well.

Hope it helps,

Best regards

Unreleased PO's can be printed if you are using ADOBE form as PO layout. In that case bcoz of Adobe functionality the unreleased POS can be printed as the print preview can covert it to PDF and you can print the same. If this is your problem you have to make enhancement in the print program/layout that if it is not released it should print draft PO. in that case even if the print is taken the draft po is also printed along so that solved the purpose. If it is released draft po will not be printed.

Hi,

If it is your own printing programe , ask abaper to add logic to check release indicator.

if it is released then allow to print else give error massge .

it is SAP standard that unreleased POs do not print.

If they do in your company, then someone has activly changed the SAP standard way, probably with own print programs that do not check this rule.

So you have to analyse your own design and ask your colleagues and ABAPers
