T-lane v/s PDS - Source of Supply selection logic in SCM (7.0)

Hi All,

If I have a material that can be both produced & procured at a given location & I always want to go the PDS route, then how do I achieve this in PP/DS?

So, I've a matl X that can be procured from another plant (valid T-lane exists) & can also be produced on a machine (valid PDS exists) at the same plant. I always want the system to pick the Source of supply which is the PDS & only selectively (manual change source of supply) pick the t-lane.

Is this as simple as maintaining a priority on the respective SOS's? We are using Sales Orders with CTP process within PP/DS.

Hi,

Yes you can maintain higher priority for PDS and tlane then it will always choose PDS only in case of CTP also.
