Message persisted

Hi,

I come across this term 'Message Persisted' in many topics. What does it mean? What does it mean by 'Message Persisted' in XI?

Message persistence - messages in XI are stored in database permanently.

Not all messages are persisted, Asynchronous messages are stored in database permamnently.

    Cheers

      Hi senthil,

By persistence u meant data is stored in database permanently. But in the XI database the config data of IR and ID are stored. Now how messages passing through XI would be stored permanently???

    Terasa,

After processing the message, Integration Engine makes a datbase commit explicitly and the processed message is stored in the database.

You can view the processed messages and archived messages as well.

    Thanks
