ESS/ MSS Configuration

Hi,

Below is my Functional requirement - ESS/ MSS configuration in Portal.

ESS:

1. Personal data

2. Bank information

3. Address

4. Mobility

5. Education

6. Service inbox

MSS:

1. Approval

2. Team information

Can anyone plz tell me how to configure these bold iViews in Portal.

Hi,

There is no standard iview available for Mobility and Education. You need customisation.

Regarding Approval- you want approval for which processes? The corresponding processes needs to be configured.

Team information is available as Standard MSS Application." General data "

Hi,

The configuration for approval is different for different ESS processes like Leave/Travel etc.

What you have to do is configure the UWL for portal to connect with the R/3 backend. For that, you first need to Create a System from System Configuration menu pointing to your R/3 backend. Then from UWL Configuration you have to create a webflow connector pointing to the system you just created.

I got UWL configuration for MSS depending upon the process to be configured for Approval.

Whether ESS-Service Inbox is having relation with this approval process in MSS ?

I am not sure but I guess ESS Service inbox and UWL are the same thing.
