Get the user logon name as a parameter for an URL iView

I want to call an external application fromout a URL iView.

As far as I have seen, it is possible to attach GET/POST parameters to such an URL.

I need to have the logon-ID of the User as a parameter. How can I get this and attach it to such an URL iView?
