Hi Sanjeev,

It is possible.

You can have as many as SAP netweaver BW connection in a xcelsius file.

but all the connections can be made to same system only.

Variable screen will be shown if there is a mandatory variable in the Bex query.

To avoid intial variable screen we can give default values to the mandatory variables.

By using the refresh button or Usage tab of a connection in data manager, we can refresh the same connection or some other connection (i.e) call same BW query or some other BW query when user is already in the xcelsius without variable screen.

Variable screen will be shown for the first time of execution only.

Hi Sanjeev,

yes, we can use trigger cell option to refresh automatically or we can introduce a new "connection refresh button" from components window and ask user to refresh manually.

to avoid variable screen giving default value to mandatory variables is the option,

After giving default values, Please re-import the query structure into xcelsius once again and check

if it not works, check all the variables once again in the Query designer,

please let me know abt this,

Hi Sanjeev,

If you are using any variable restriction in Keyfigures. you have to give default values to those variables also.

Hi Sanjeev,

You just need to think about variables which are shown in Variable screen.

How many variables it is asking in intial screen?

Among that how many are coming with * (i.e) mandatory?

If you have some exit variables then Give default value in I_step=1.

I think for other methods portal administrator may be able to help, while creating I views in EP.
