material allocation

Hi friends,

we r working on implemntation project.Here material defination is different.

The problem is one plant is kept the raw material stock.But receving plant using these raw materials with different codes.

how can i map thse materila i receving plant.

please tell me

all are internal number ranges..

    Revise your business process, otherwise you'll have to do a lot of manual decoupled work.

    Hi,

    Because both are different plant so you can put different - different price of one material for each plant, in receiving plant you can take price same as consuming cost which may different from first plan, but discuss with your Account person beacause when u transfer goods first plant to second then, difference amount hit entries.

    but if second plant consume in different cost then, i hope presently also account department also dealing different price in both plant for this material.

    Get in touch with your team working on the material master data & get them to harmonize the material codes.

    Not only will you address the issue which you cite here, but a lot of other issues as well. It is as simple as that.
