Alternate Capacity resource

Hi everyone

In pharmaceutical industry we validate our Products on 2-3 different machines,

However in Reciepe we have to maintain 1 standard validated machine as Resource in operations

Is there any method of Capacity Evalution in SAP-ECC-6, where you can Link for a Finished goods 2 machines to evaluate the capacity reqirements. Something like Alternate machine for same operation.

Can pooling of capacity be used here ? and how?

Creating alternate Production versions is of little help since all planned orders will be generated with 1st assigned Receipe and flow will be with 1st production version
