Prifit center changed in posted document.

Hi,

One of our user faceing a problem with the change feilds in on document posted. Actually after the document posted the profit center is changed,whenwe go and display document the profit center feild is missing, but when go and see change feilds it is showed that this profit center changed.Can anybody advise how the profit center is changed after posting document is there any posibility or why it is showing in changed feild profit center is changed.

It is not posible to change the profit center,please reverse and re post with correct profit center

Hi,

Please check the substitution rule. My be you are posting vendor or customer entry business will set the substitution rule.

Example: If you are posting through vendor or customer. If your giving one profit-center and system will change after posted the entry some other profit center based on substitution rule.

As per standards, you can't change account assignment for a document like cost center, profit centers, tax codes e.t.c after you have posted the document. It is advised to reverse the document and then rectify the document to post it again.
