Cannot read or interpret SDA deployment descriptor

We are getting this error when trying to deploy an EAR file. This same project has been successfully deployed on a different machine. When comparing the EAR files on the two machines they are identical. The error only occurs on one machine.

com.sap.sdm.apiint.serverext.servertype.deployment.DeploymentActionException: Cannot read or interpret SDA deployment descriptor.

Additional error message is:

com.sap.sdm.apiint.serverext.sdmprovided.CantReadDeploymentDescriptorException: Error parsing the SDA deployment descriptor: Substitution variable com.sap.dc_name is not defined (error ID: SPOEngineSubstitutionVariable.SPOEngineSubstitutionVariable(XMLElementIF).UNDEFINED_VARIABLE)

Any help would be appreciated.

I guess you have to issue an OSS message.

    Hello,

do you still have the same problems?

You can install SP04 and after this SP09 for WAS and the NWDS - this way solved my problem.

    Regards,

    Andre
