I am doing HR implementation - Headcount and Personal Actions.
Right now the Costcenter present in the cube ...which is looked up as part of employee master.
The customer wants to report further up on the Functional Area Level .
e .g :
XXX Functional Area
Top Level Functional Area
Second Level Functional Area #1
Packaging CC
Overhead CC
Second Level Functional Area #2
Second Level Functional Area #3
Packaging Administration CC
QA CC
They are maintaining it in T-code PP01 and they showed us through T-code PPSS.
The data is flowing into tables HRP1000 and HRP1001.
Now,my doubts are:
How this information maintained through PP01 going to flow to BI?
We can have a datasource pull data from HRP1000 and HRP1001 and then build the hierarchy logic in BI.I want to avoid this as it will become very cumbersome? Is there any other way?
Is there any other way we can maintain Functional Area <=> Cost Center relationship in ECC for HR?
