Hi,
Can we Match Reports MB5B (Stock on Posting Date) and S_ALR_87012301 (G/L Account Balance)???
Till March these reports are matching but from April 11, data not matching..
In tcode MB5B, we are looking Valuated Stock of Materials and in tcode s_alr_87012301 showing balances, which were matching earlier..
Plz guide...
Dear:
Please review OSS Note : SAP Note 968812 - MM / FI Difference for material stocks. It is advised to run the report when no postings are taking place. If the difference still remains, raise an OSS message and implement the programs in the note 32236.

Thanks dear..
In MB5B, respective Amount is showing 15,743.04 of Material and in MM / FI Difference for material stocks report, amount is also showing 15,743.04.
Please confirm that through MM / FI Difference for material stocks report, Stock is showing according to G/L Account or Material Wise...
Dear:
Execute the stock GL in FS04 to track the history of changes made to it. It is quite possible that post automatically tick was changed and some direct posting were made against this GL which ultimately caused discrepancies. If track is showing post automatic tick changed then it means some direct posting were made to it, Note the period in which it was changed and analyze the posting against this GL in that time span.
Regards
Dear:
Execute the GL in FBL3N report in the period where automatic check was un ticked and also identify the user who did that. The user is indicated in FS04. After that you will analyze entries posted directly to this GL in the period indicated by the change log. Find the entries posted and user and investigate through the matter.
Regards
Dear:
You can easily track the user who changed the auto posting for the GL and the date at which it was changed. Run the GL at that date in FLB3N and look for the document posted in that date range. There might be some posting with distinguished document types. You can track them. After that you can do the necessary reconciliation.
