How to add/edit selection screen for a report created using report painter

Hello All,

how can we add/edit the selection screen for a CO report that is created using the report painter or report writer. there is a existing one, which should be edited to come with the new selection.

There must be SAP program generated for report created using report painter.you can edit that program and add / edit selection screen for the generated report.

but it is not adviseble to change the SAP program, and there are so many includes and addition to the seleciton screen is not that simple to make the changes to the stnadard program.

Hi,

Best way is to copy the standard program and do the necessary changes. Talk to your client and explain the complexity and impact of changing the existing one.

Hi,

Ideally, when ever this type of requirement comes in, we copy the standard program to a Z Program and then do the required modifications. You can create a tcode for this and then can provide them a Standard Look-a-Like Functionality.
