IDoc Erro : WDocument does not contain any items

Hi All,

I am new to ABAP and am facing an incident in IDocs .

I am facing an incident in whic the Idoc is giving error : WDocument does not contain any items

I have to find out which value is not getting populated in the IDoc because of whic we are gettign this error.

Please give some direction as to how to solve this problem.

I am assuming that you are getting this issue in Production environment. Here you can check the error in WE05 and do research based on the error message. I believe the error is due to missing line item data.

You could replicate the error in development environment and in WE19, you could populate the missing data and check if you can fix the error. Once you are sure, you can then communicate the reason to the source system / team and they can then repush the data or you can correct the data and reprocess.

Hi Shyam,

I have already seen the function module regarding this IDoc.There I could not find any code generating my error.

Also , when I go to we81 to look at the message type, I am not able to find it out( It is a z message type.)

Is there any other way of movng ahead ?

Kindly guide me further from here.
