Defined fields for matching of Business partner Vendor

Can I do matching of any field objects in each of the general view, company code view and porg view of this master data? What are the standard fields delivered that can be matched on and how much trouble is it to add additional fields from company code and porg data?

In MDM Standard specific matching algorithms are rolled out. For Business Partners (Vendors, Customers) specific attributes are taken into consideration for matching. These are name, address data, DUNS-No.

On a project base these attributes can be changed or extended. The effort depends from project to project. A general statement concerning the effort is not possible.
