Error while sending mail from SAP to GMAIL

HI

Is it possible to setup mail server in sap in iDES used at home. I tried doing the config for the mail server.

Its throwing the message "Error due to SMTP connection(final).

All the config is correct. But the error message is still appearing.

Where to find the mail host mentioned in SMTP in SCOT. Will it be local host always.

I am trying to send mail to gmail server. Is it possible.

Help in this regard will be very appreciatable.
